Write a Twitter thread about {topic}.

Requirements:
- {num_tweets} tweets total
- Tweet 1 is a hook with a bold claim or surprising fact
- Each tweet is self-contained AND makes you want to read the next
- Use the pattern: hook → 3 evidence/insight tweets → story/example → payoff → CTA
- First tweet under 200 characters
- End with a question or a resource link
- No hashtags

Example structure from a top thread:
